8 Mar 1743 In obedience to an order of Vestry held for Albemarle dated last Octor 13th day 1743 directing us to Assemble the freeholders together and to renew their land marks and procession all the lands from the Mouth of Raccoon Swamp, so to the mouth of ye Little Swamp, thence up the Little Swamp to Stoakes’s Road thence by Stoak’s Road to the Hunting Quarter thence down the Hunting Quarter to Nottaway River to the beginning.
