In the name of God Amen, I Mary Woodfolk, of the county of Albemarle being weak in body but of a sound judgment and memory do make this my last will & Testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made in the first place. I commit my soul unto the hands of the Almighty God that give it, my body to the earth to be buried in in a Christian like manner at the discretion of my executors hereafter mentioned as to my worldly good that it has please God to give me, I bequeath as followeth, to wit:
Item, I give to Mrs. Mary GILLUM one chest, one trunk and one suit of clothing.
Item I give to my sister Ann GILLUM, my bed and furniture during her natural life and after her death to Mary Talley GILLUM.
Also I give to my said sister all the property beside what has been mentioned that I am possessed of as __________ mentioned 
I do hereby constitute and appoint my nephew Pleasant GILLUM my soul [sic] executor of this my last Will and Testament.
In Witness whereunto I have set my hand and seal this 23 Day of January and in the year of our Lord 1811.

At a court held for Albemarle County the 5th of October 1812 this testament of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Mary Woodfolk, deceased was produced into court and proved by the oaths of Wetherston Shelton and John B Oglesby witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
