Riddle, Defendants, In Chancery This cause came on by consent of the parties and upon reading the bill and answer it is considered by the court and accordingly ordered and decreed that the plaintiff recover her dower on the lands in the the bill mentioned and Leonard Daniel, Codrington Carrington, Samuel Atkinson, Richard Taylor and Benjamin Toler or any three of them to be accompanied by any sworn surveyor are appointed to lay off and allot to the plaintiff one third of the tract of land in the bill mentioned for her dower thereof and make a report thereof to the court in order to a final decree

This day came the parties by their attorneys and thereupon came a Jury (to wit) Sherwood Fowler and eleven others who being elected, tryed and sworn the truth to speak upon the issue joined upon their oath do say that the defendant have not paid the debt in the declaration mention, therefore it is commanded by the court that the plaintiff recover against the defendant their sum of twenty four pounds, two shillings and four pence but to be discharged by the payment twelve pounds, one shilling and two pence, with legal interest charged from the 5th day of October 1812 till and costs.

This day the parties by their attorney and on hearing the bill answer and other exhibits in the cause It is ordered and deemed that the said Executors do make sale of all such of the perishable property belonging to the estate of the testator as may be specifically divided and if the sum shall not be sufficient for the payments of all just debts ad expenses that then they proceed to sell so much of the personal property as may be sufficient therefore making sale of no property that may be specifically divided but in case of a total want of other personal estate that the said sale shall be made upon such terms at the discretion of the Executors and that after having made sale as aforesaid settle their executorial accounts.
